Yale week 7 :: of packing, hiding out, and cleansing

Last night, I made five outfits for the week and threw everything else into my suitcases.

I’m ready to go home.

Today, I woke up with a stuffy head and an achy body. I ditched two of my observations, fell back asleep, woke up and trudged to watch my one needy instructor, went back to the dorm and fell asleep again. I skipped breakfast and lunch and ate the rest of my Nagaraya peanuts for dinner.

I’m ready to go home.

I’m looking decidedly plump in this pic and I’m telling myself it’s because KS#1 was bored taking pics at this point and not getting me at my best angle. I refuse to acknowledge that I gained the dreaded freshman 15 from living the dorm life.

Self-delusion notwithstanding, I think it’s time for a cleanse. I think it’ll be green, leafy vegetables and fruit from now on. No more alcohol binges for yours truly. Because I really don’t want to continue looking like this.

I just don’t look very happy, do I? At least I got a chance to wear a statement necklace. I swear, I will burn that orange lanyard the first chance I get.

Thank you. I think I may just have to join you in half marathons to get back in fighting shape. I don’t like feeling shlubby. At all. :/

Tell me all about it! I'm listening...
