OOTD :: of printed blazers and blog followers

Today’s trouser outfit is a reverse of Tuesday’s.

This time around, it’s the top that’s from F21 while the completer piece is from H&M. When I started typing up the item facts, I  chortled at that silly coincidence then gave myself props for retail loyalty. At least I’m consistent, eh?

I actually almost returned the blazer, though, because the print bordered on the obnoxious, even for me. But I’d acquired it during H&M’s special sale for 10 bucks and who can turn down a brand new blazer for 10 bucks?

Glad I kept it now because it works as a perfect substitute for a cardi when I need a lightweight topper on a crisp but not cold day. I like the look of pairing it with yet another flowy top that doesn’t require strategic half-tucking but I bet it’d work with a fun graphic tee and skinnies for those days when I’m feeling rocker chic.

In other news…

I now have 90 blog followers. (Shout out to all 90 of you loyal folks who haven’t deleted me from your feed! You all rock!)

I started this blog full bore in March. That means I’m averaging around 12 new followers a month.

I wonder if this is a good thing, a bad thing or just a thing.

It’s been a while since I checked, much less cared, about my blog stats. But while doing research on how to take photos sans photo crew (read: on my own), I stumbled upon this post which of course got me obsessing, and now I’m almost hell-bent in beating my numbers, or matching them at the very least.

Almost.

I mean, it would be nice to acquire (and maintain – that’s vastly more important!) new followers but if I’m not dedicated enough to actively pursue readership, then I should probably just relinquish the obsession. There are other, far more interesting things to obsess over.

Yup.

:: Just the facts, ma’am ::

Blazer – H&M
