I probably should’ve shot this ensemble in front of some greenery.
The pastels just sorta blend into the wall’s stucco. I tried to Photoshop the heck out of these pics because I swear the skirt is a warm peachy pink and the sweatshirt is a yummy vanilla cream with shots of gold swirls throughout. When I did the Vivian booty shake in front of the mirror, I was pleased as punch with the entire look. I guess, like black, some things just don’t photograph well unless in the hands of a professional.
Ah, well. C’est la vie!
However washed out the colors look, it must be noted that the fabrics are second to none. Chiffon is a girl’s best friend anyway, so the skirt’s happiness factor was already through the roof when I bought it.
But the sweatshirt was a pleasant surprise. The description online doesn’t do it justice. Sure, the gold thread embroidery kicks it up a notch from being your ordinary sweatshirt already, but even better is the inside. It’s thick and silky yet soft and cotton-y and just feels like a dream against my skin. Trust. You all should buy this sweatshirt. I’m thinking of buying the black one too!
