    • Thanks, Lisa! I recently reminded myself that I actually had mad Photoshopping skills. Why I relied on a stock photo as my header for so long is beyond me. ;p

    • You’re always so astute, Dolly. I did deliberately use a particularly vibrant red for lips this week to femme up the masculine vibes of the outfits. With my square jaw, I tend to look mannish anyway, so I needed something to mitigate that.

        • Eh, when I have my hair pulled back – no bangs or anything – I look like a very unattractive boy. It’s why I try not to wear baseball caps with a ponytail. Thank Buddha I’ve discovered the power of the sideswept bang. It solves a multitude of issues.

Nothing stopping you from buying them now – I’ve been eyeing a pair with the Union Jack on it for months now…

      • That was clever of you, very apt use of the lipstick as part of the outfit :-). I just liked the look of it lol so your effort definitely wasn’t in vain – it’s a great result/look 🙂

I think without makeup, hair up and dress in a ‘tomboy’ way with consciously non-feminine stances/walk/posture a lot of girls and women look like guys. I’ve seen it and done it myself when feeling the need to feel safer in a not so safe part of town for example. Doesn’t matter how ‘attractive’ the female is either, there’s only a handful of us who couldn’t do it and even then if they could pass for a ganymede. So don’t worry 🙂 – plus photography is tough, I’ve seen plenty of pics of the most ‘womanly’ of women looking masculine in the face. At least we can pick which pics we post 😉

Tell me all about it! I'm listening...
