OOTD :: of Elizabeth Barret Browning and neon Chucks

How do I love thee, OOTD? Let me count the ways…

  1. You allow me to dress the 90s (plaid, anyone?) without the shame of looking dated.
  2. That impulse Rodarte cardi purchase from thredup just to get free ship has become my go-to layering piece even in this 90+ degree heat.
  3. The top is wrinkle-free, has an interesting asymmetric necktie for visual interest, doesn’t make my arms look monstrous, and was free!
  4. I bought that skirt for $9.
  5. My new TARDIS watch gets its day in the sun.
  6. The whole look came together by effortless accident when I was creating another outfit. I would not have thought to style all these pieces at the same time had they not been lying side by side on my bedroom floor.
  7. Neon Chucks. ‘Nuff said.

  1. How about I have the exact same skirt. Oh yeah, it would absolutely be on if we worked together! Ha! Love the Chucks…what’s not to love about them?

The Chucks! You had me at the Chucks. xo

  3. Those neon Chucks are fabulous!

    • mtsedwards says:

Aren’t they just? I really wanted periwinkle and this was a consolation prize when they didn’t have the periwinkle in my size, but the neon sure is photogenic so I think I came out the winner in the end.

  4. Connie Snow* says:

Plaid AND neon Chucks. You ‘ve got my attention. Love it.

  5. Love the skirt! Would be great with a white crop top too! 🙂

Tell me all about it! I'm listening...
