OOTD :: of Mad Hunts, maxi dresses, and lemon bars

This was one of the maxi dress that resulted from a Mad Hunt after jonesing for Selah‘s.

And if you actually clicked on all those links, then you deserve a cookie. Or a brownie. Or a lemon bar.

Mmmm…lemon bars!

But I’m getting ahead of myself; the Dress like a Dessert challenge over at SpyGirl won’t be for another two weeks. For today, then, let us just rejoice that I now have 3 blue maxi dresses that mimic Selah’s (because this ol’ Gemini can’t make up her mind to save her life) and that this one has that cunning neckline that showcases my monogram necklace beautifully. I also adore the neckline for what it does to my broad shoulders – I actually feel less football player and more femme fatale in this frock.

Have a fantabulous Friday, y’all!

  1. Dress perfection! It does have the perfect neckline to show off that fab necklace. And I think your shoulders are great…mine are broad too, I think that just makes us a little more badass!

So pretty – I know what you mean about Old Navy – sometimes I’ll hand-wash a favorite piece in cold water, just to get a few more wears out of it. xox

  3. Oh yes! Gorgeous dress! I’m really convinced that maxis are the best and I hope they never go out of style!

They’re just a bit limiting in the photography department since you can only pose your arms so many ways before they all start looking the same. ;p

  4. I’m glad you found a dress you love! 😀

Thank you! I’m afraid to wash it, though, because it fits perfectly right now but Old Navy stuff tends to shrink, so… :/

Tell me all about it! I'm listening...
