I love, love, love this cardi. Or is it a cover up? Or is it a kimono?
Regardless, when I got it from one of Romwe’s ubiquitous flash sales (when they tell you something that used to be $40 was now yours for the low, low price of $9.99 quantities limited?) I had low expectations for it. After all, I’d not had much luck with Romwe’s merchandise, it being one of those Asian stores who cater to the waify and wispy. But I figured, heck! It’s only $9.99 and free ship and if it didn’t work out, it’s an instant regift.
But I got it and I put it on and I love it! It’s actually quite versatile – here, it’s very hippy cool but I’ve also since worn it with a sleeveless yellow sundress from Old Navy and it took on a different vibe – flirty and classy with an appropriate amount of twee. Perhaps if you’re nice, I’ll feature that ensemble later.
For now, let’s wave a fond farewell to this week’s Woodstock Nation theme and pat ourselves on the back for successfully navigating its bohemian aesthetic without once having to purchase new items.

Love it, and I need those pants too. xox
Ah, but I bet you could thrift one better. ;p
Love your bohemian style! Loads of love, hippy at heart xx
Thank you!
The cardigan is beautiful! I’ve never heard of Romwe but I might have to check it out.
Their prices are a bit steep and they sell stuff similar to F21, but if you get on their email list, they do have fab sales.
Oooh, love the whole outfit! Been MIA lately, but still a huge fan! 😉
P.S. I want those pants!
Last season from F21. Glad I got them in both colors; they seem to be a hit. 😀
I also love your cardi!
Thank you. It’s one of my final purchases before the spending fast so I shall think of it fondly.
Ooh, pretty! The pattern of the lace also looks like it would work for a 1920s outfit. 🙂
Remind me of that the next time there’s a decade challenge, ok? ;p
