OOTD :: of passive aggressiveness and pushing the envelope

So I won’t bore you with my work drama.

I would probably be in violation of someone’s privacy if I did share work drama so it’s just as well that I say nothing.

What I can share with you, however, is my deliberate passive aggressiveness by wearing a pointedly inappropriate outfit for work. The dress is two inches too short and the heels are what KS #2 deemed “hooker heels” but I really can’t be arsed about either because that’s just the kind of mood I’m in.

By the way, the footwear (sketchy though they may be) does allow me to be TARDIS Tuesday compliant, but in case that wasn’t good enough, I extra embellished with an oldie but goodie necklace from Old Navy. Hopefully, both are enough to consider this outfit remixed from this one.

You definitely pushed the envelope here Maricel. Love your fun and cool shirt-dress and those are some funky and hot cobalt heels. Fierce for sure!!

I just started a 30 for 30 remix challenge today. Check it out, thanks, Ada. =)

  4. You look absolutely stunning….gorgeous! And you know I’m all for being the fashion rebel at work. 🙂

The best revenge is looking fabulous. You doz it! It’s too sweet an outfit for anyone to suspect you of passive aggressive behavior. Hooker heels? I think not. Well maybe. Ask Helen Mirren … she’s all about them. I don’t think hookers wear suede, do they?
Hope you are recovered and having a fabulous week in spite of the mean ones.

Patent, maybe? Okay, maybe not hooker. Maybe escort service? LOL. I did get loads of compliments on the outfit today so that’s always a spirit uplifter, eh?

Oh, you sassy little rebel! And would-be Brit – can’t be arsed, my ass. You also look like you just came out of Carnaby Street, circa 1967. I know that was before your time, but just think of Twiggy. You carry it off with 21st century charm. Adorable!!

    • mtsedwards says:

That is the best. compliment. ever. I am familiar with Carnaby Street and am beaming that you think I’m worthy of it. and yes, I am a would-be Brit at heart.

  7. Aroon Melane says:

  8. You look fabulous! Love this outfit

  9. I’m sorry. 😦
Adding a TARDIS blue necklace and heels definitely counts as remixing! 🙂

  10. Uh oh, I’m sorry that there is trouble at work. School is frequently not sunshine and rainbows for me and it’s hard not to share about it on the blog…but who knows who reads these things! Your outfit deserves an A+, though! And those heels! Wow 🙂

    • mtsedwards says:

Indeed. Nothing is sacred on the interwebs. But these heels are fierce, aren’t they? Glad I went ahead and bought them because they sure are comfy!

  11. Patti says:

Sorry about the work thingy. Rise above, always rise above. Wearing this dress is one fabulous way to do it – you look great. xox

    • mtsedwards says:

What does not kill me, right? I shall rise above and be professional about the whole thing. And yes – I did feel particularly perky in this ensemble. Go, yellow!

Tell me all about it! I'm listening...
