5 Things :: of Anne M. Bray and the final verdict

So I can’t stand it. The OCD in me must have all four points of the compass represented.

And since I’ve saved tons of money from my 90-Day Spending Fast, I feel I can splurge on two extra pics from my good friend Anne.

Thanks so much to those of you who voted. The results are in and below are the winners for each region.

I did fudge on the “North”, however. There was a tie for it, but y’all picked either the red farmhouse or Niagara Falls. Since the NY City photo was already grey and gritty, I subbed out the Falls pic for the other farmhouse – partly because I’m smitten by Selah’s comment about it being “gloriously lonely” and partly because I needed a fifth pic for my 5 Things feature – and now I have one, final vote request, if I may? Which “North” pic should I pick?

I’ve thumbnailed them all for you so you can imagine how they’ll all look when put together on my wall. And if anyone wants to Photoshop me a cool compass rose to go in the center of my planned wall collage, I’ll be your best friend.

  2. Yeah, I think you need that pop of red to balance out the other pictures. The gloriously lonely one sort of fades away. You’ll just have to use the words in your book (if Selah agrees).

  3. The red barn of North would balance the reds of the South train, if that’s any help. Hope we can do a meet-up for the delivery!

    • Okay, red barn it is! I suppose I owe you some money for the other two now, eh? And a meet-up would be fab but can we wait until I find a better frame of mind? I’d hate to be a Debbie Downer the first time we see each other IRL.

    • But that would ruin the symmetry. Okay, I think I’ll defer to the artist on this one. And to the voters. Red farmhouse it is.

Tell me all about it! I'm listening...
