  1. This is so me…we’re like twinsies! Fabulous, my friend. Utterly fabulous.

  2. Super cute! I love camo print for its masculinity – you know I love a good masculine / feminine combo.

Gotta love Chekhov… You also really rocked this look.

Great quote and fab cool look!

  5. I love this look! You’re really working those camo pants.

I’m just happy they still fit me after several weeks of feast and festivity. A majority of my skinnies are still waiting for me to snap back into pre-winter shape. LOL.

Good old Chekhov! I love the jacket it’s nice (can I confess though, open mouth images like that really freak me out- don’t know why!)x

    • mtsedwards says:

Ahahahaha! You have the same reaction to open mouth images as I do with doe-eyed children. Illogical, but present nonetheless.

Such an apt Chekov quote … can only take him in small doses. Quelle bumm-aire! Not that he’s not right about this, though. Very true. I’m ready for a little smooth sailing, and I wish you a brilliant recuperation. January always finds me in an antsy state.
You look pretty fabulous here. Your students must love how great you look … for a grown up, that is! I refuse to do camo (no irony possible here in Deliverance country … context is absolutely everything), but I am into my one, pitiful graphic T with a blazer. As always, you inspire.

    • mtsedwards says:

Oh, I agree with you about reading Chekhov, but I do like the quote. ‘Tis quite fitting for this first week back from the holidays.

My students this year have no opinion one way or another about me and I’d like to keep it that way. Funny, BFF refuses to do camo too, for political reasons, I think. I just think of it as yet another print to play with. Is that wrong of me?

I predict that graphic tees with blazers will be my M.O. for 2015. Glad I could inspire. ;p

I’m loving your rock star looks this week! If you want to come and carry video equipment and try not to trip over cables wearing your stilettos, you can be me. 😀

  9. This quote perfectly sums-up how I’m feeling today! I am EXHAUSTED! Life has been pretty crazy lately (as evidenced by my absence from the blogosphere) but I’m really hoping to get some rest this weekend so I can get back into the swing of things!

P.S. You look like a rock star in this outfit!

    • mtsedwards says:

Yes, I actually need a break from my break – what with travel and home improvement filling my time – and the first week back to work is really killing me. Thank goodness I was able to postdate all my stuff this week, eh? Will Blogging Besties be up and running tomorrow you think?

      P.S. Thank you! 😀

  10. Patti says:

Love, love the Chekov quote! And the very cool outfit. xox

    • mtsedwards says:

Merci beaucoup. This is another new feature I’m doing to mitigate the pressure of blogging. A picture, a quote and then off with our day we go, eh?

  11. chessakat says:

Cuffed camo and stilettos?! Be still my contrast-loving heart! Love the whole look.

And one day you shall teach me how to walk in stilettos.

    • mtsedwards says:

Full disclosure: I totally duped this look from a Pin and I also ended up switching out the stilettos for a pair of more sensible 4-inch heels because the first week back to work is a beast and my feet are paying the price. That said, walking in stilettos is actually pretty easy as long as you have the right pair. As long as they’ve got a comfortable toe box and a bit of a platform, it;s really like walking in normal heels (says the 5-foot-nothing gal who was birthed wearing heels. LOL!).

Tell me all about it! I'm listening...
