picstitch(34)Hullo, Wordless Wednesday!

Thank you for convincing me that this dress isn’t too tight across the back after all. And even if it was, that’s nothing a cardi and a good bra can’t fix.

And thank you for allowing me to pretend that these are lemons and not roses because we all know how much I despise roses…

  1. I am in love with your lemon rose dress. The style is so feminine and classic. The mint cardi looks lovely with it. You are definitely wearing some of Pantone’s Spring 2015 colors!

  2. So, so pretty, even though you are wearing my cardi (yes, I have one just like it, and I love it). And you’re also wearing my yellow rose table cloth! It makes a much prettier dress, though, especially on you!

    • And if we were both Sue from A Colourful Canvas, we would both look at that rose table cloth and actually make a dress from it. ;p

    • Well, m’dear, I’ve been doing the 40+ fluctuation with my weight and I had to really suck in the gut to make this work when I first got it in the mail. Judicious cutting of carbs allowed me to wear it today and breathe at the same time. So yes, it’s a keeper as long as I don’t overindulge in pasta and rice.

  3. What a lovely burst of sunshine on this gloomy “marine layer” morning. (Or are they real clouds today? Can’t tell!)
Guess what — I ran into Glenda “So What To Twenty” yesterday at the LA Fashion Council Fall 15 runway show!! I also rode in the elevator with Amanda Valentine and an as yet unidentified gent from Project Runway! The stars are out!

    • Oh, you must! I almost think that a yellow dress is almost as de rigeur as a black dress in any woman’s closet, especially for spring.

Tell me all about it! I'm listening...
