OOTD :: of Earth Day and cowgirls

Hullo, Wordless Wednesday!

Thanks for making it easy for me to combine two prompts: Earth Day for Whitney’s Create28 and Hey, Cowgirl! for Anne’s 52 Pick-me-up. Because nothing says “earth” like blue and green and nothing says “cowgirl” like gingham and cowboy boots.

:: Just the facts, ma’am ::
Top – Old Navy
Jacket – ASOS
Skinnies – F21
Boots – Ariat

    So cute! Loving the boots. Feeling like I need to keep an eye out for a pair!

      Oh, I swear by my cowboy boots! They are so comfy and I love that I’ve worn them out to that broken-in patina. Now, I must confess that they caused me severe foot pain initially – cowboy boots are traditionally narrower in the vamp – but then I discovered cobblers in general and my cobbler in particular who stretched them out and now they’re my most comfortable pair of shoes after my Chucks. I just haven’t worn them much this year because reasons…

  2. Parfait, mon amie! I’m loving the cowgirl boots! You are making me want to pull mine out of the back of my closet!

    You almost make me want to wear gingham. Almost… Somehow, my cowgirl doesn’t seem quite as fashionable.

      Aly told me the other day that there were a lot of things that I could get away with (in terms of style) that very few people could. We were in the Target dressing room and she was trying on the Lilly Pulitzer for fun and she was wrinkling her nose at her reflection. When I told her we had similar coloring so the outfits should’ve looked as nice on her, she said she couldn’t pull off the prints. So is it a question of personality then?
