It’s T minus 8 days and counting, folks!

Eight more days and then this godsbedamned 2014-2015 school year will come to a most welcome close.

I’m not one to gripe and grumble in public, and this isn’t the venue for it anyway had I been so inclined, but the more astute of you out there know how thoroughly spent I’ve been this year, what with work drama and all. So pardon me while I heave a humungous sigh of relief and perhaps plan on a breather from life for a few days.

While I ponder and commit to my next move, have an OOTD that’s a bit daring, even for me.

Yes, those are gauchos. Yes, I’m a several seasons behind on this trend (supposedly big in Fall ’14?). And yes, it’s another one of those items that’s “not for me” since I’m so fun-sized and all. But Anne was sporting a pair the other day, and I immediately went on a Mad Hunt upon seeing her look so fabulous in hers. Call it spontaneity. Call it impulse. Call it being seduced by her fuzzy hat. I still had to have one of my own.

Apparently, this pair I acquired from Poshmark should rocket me into the fashionista stratosphere since its from trendy label Voom. Ever hear of Voom? Yeah, I hadn’t. But according to their website, even stars love Voom, so I’m feeling totally fly in my brand name gauchos, even though the cut of them forces me to wear them waaay below my belly button than I’m comfortable with. Thank goodness for completer pieces and camouflage, eh?

I am TARDIS Tuesday compliant because Aly told me my gauchos look like 10’s pinstriped suit. And I bet Kezzie will find even more connections to the Doctor somehow. (Go, Kezzie!) Speaking of my wonderful British friend, I have officially made her a co-host for the TARDIS Tuesday linkup, and since she’s on Blogger, the linky will post directly on her page, like it ought to. So if you prefer that format, go check out her blog and post your outfit there.

Go on! I won’t mind.

    • Thanks! My husband not only commented on this, but even admitted he liked this outfit. He NEVER talks about my outfits! It must be a keeper, eh? ;p

  1. Yay, it worked!!! I type from deepest, darkest Exmoor in West England. I LOVE your trousers like I loved Anne’s . Really not sure if I can think of any classic Who reference except I’m sure Jo Grant (3rd Doctor companion) had some big flared trousers, it being the 70’s, but not sure of shade.

    • I’m not familiar with Exmoor, but it can’t be too deep and dark if they have interweb capabilities, eh? And see? Jo Grant – who knew? You do! LOL!

Tell me all about it! I'm listening...
