Let’s take a brief break from work-appropriate shorts for some TARDIS Tuesday love.
I actually do own a pair of TARDIS blue shorts, but they’re not only inappropriate in length and type of fabric, they’re also a wee bit too snug at this time and may have to wait for their day in the sun after I have won my campaign against expansion.
Today, then, I give you a monochromatic blue ensemble that takes into consideration my need for camouflage. Because an oversized button-up plus forgiving jersey palazzo pants equals wonders for my fluffy silhouette.
I will continue to challenge you to think of which country inspired this outfit (as per Anne’s 52 Pick-me-up United Nations challenge), but just so you know: It isn’t the UK ‘coz that’d just have been too easy.
By the way, yesterday’s look was inspired by Italy because when I think “Italy”, I think lemons (don’t ask; I just do) and sleek, chic Sophia Loren-esque ladies swanning about in teetering wedges. So when Selah guessed “Vatican City”, she wasn’t too off the mark. Good on you, Selah!
Anyhow, what about you? Have you got an outfit inspired by a country? What about anything British, blue or Doctor Who? Do tell…

I find your look super stylish and so easy to achieve!
This is fabulous my friend! I don’t usually dig palazzo pants, but I gotta say you’re rockin’ them. I too am a bit fluffier than normal. My stuff still fits, but not necessarily the way it should…

Hmm. Now that I know you’re not being literal (like flag colors), and you’ve already done Italy (which would’ve been my first guess for an outfit starring palazzo pants), I’m going to guess France, because Coco Chanel introduced palazzo pants to high fashion!
Woman, you are two for two!
I’ve not got a clue what country you are!!! Er???
These are my type of trousers as they are so wide and fun! Can’t resist fun trousers!!!x
I’m realizing that exact same thing. Goodbye skinny jeans; hello trousers for next term?
“Campaign against expansion,” bwahahaha! I’m constantly on that campaign trail! And I’m guessing your outfit isn’t British-inspired because that would be too easy? So I’m going to guess Spain! The print of your pants reminds me of the Alambra and you look like you are comfy enough to take a siesta!
*Alhambra
Oooh, I like that guess but you give me too much credit. I’m not familiar with Alhambra but now that you mention it, the print does look mosaic-y, doesn’t it?
That outfit looks comfortable AND chic. Well played!
“Is this quiz graded?”
Hahahaha
Not graded. I’m off the clock.
WhoooEEEEE!
