Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you my Pin It/Did It look, courtesy of The Budget Babe. (Did I get it right?)

And with this ensemble, we reach the end of the month and the end of another rousing round of Create28. My thanks to Carrie, Casey and Whitney. It’s been a fun ride, ladies! Can’t wait to see your roundup at the end of the week.

This week also signifies another finale of sorts. May I find the courage to follow through with the decision I’ve made, one based on a moment of enlightenment that resulted from weeks of profound thought. And it allows me to link up with Anne since I’m compliant with her 52 Pick-me-up prompt.

I speak, of course, of the indefinite hiatus I’m going to take from this blog starting November.

It’s been long time coming, and I think some of you may have already guessed this based on the tapering off of comments on all the blogs I follow. (For that, I truly apologize, but it was too monumental a task to bid adieu to each and every one of you individually, so I took the coward’s way out.)

You see, my friends, I think I’ve reached the end of my rope patience interest energy with this whole style blogging business.

The thing is, I will always love clothes and shoes and reinventing myself sartorially, but I’m tired of documenting it all. And I’ve deviated so much from the original intent of this blog anyway that I’m ashamed to visit my own “About me” page to remind myself of it. I’m also blessed with an amazing bunch of students this year, all of who deserve a lot more of my time and attention. Top all that off with a moldering manuscript begging for equal time and attention, and you’ve got the perfect match to cause an explosion.

So although I’ve met some amazing people along the way, I think I shall defer to those more dedicated more able more involved in the fashion sphere than I while I focus on the things that currently fill me with fulfillment.

I will continue to participate in Blogging Besties since that’s a commitment involving other people I care about and I would hate to leave them in the lurch. Also, I have my entries all set for the remaining two Thursdays of the year for T3. But TARDIS Tuesdays will have to go on hold (unless Kezzie wants to take it over) and I must bid a fond farewell for the nonce to Patti’s Visible Monday, Anne’s 52 Pick-me-up, The Pleated Poppy’s WIWW, and Dawn Lucy’s Fun Fashion Friday.

When/if I get my style mojo back, I’m hoping I’ll be that much more engaged and enthused for leaving of it.

Enjoy the rest of the week and my final OOTDs, my friends. I pre-created them last weekend to finish off my self-imposed obligation to Create28, and I needed to empty out my phone’s photo cache anyway. But after this week, I’m going dark.

I’ll catch you on the flip side.
