Hullo, all!
In the pursuit of efficiency and ease, I’ve decided to incorporate my five pieces into each one of my workday outfits. Makes sense, right? Five pieces, five workdays? The items I’ve chosen and their corresponding days are as follows (hover over each pic for more info):
Huh.
Well.
Seeing all of them together like this, I realize I’ve unconsciously chosen very monochromatic basics that will work wonderfully as a foundation for other, more showy things. Gods, I’m good!
By the way, all my pieces are from Old Navy, with the exception of the black trousers which is a Who What Wear item from Target.
Also, I want to give a shout-out to The Lucky Guide to Mastering Any Style, my second style bible, for providing me with the inspiration for a lot of my ensembles. I’ve been out of the au courant loop for so long that I really appreciated the kickstart this book gave me.
I can’t wait to show off my outfit experimentations and permutations, and I urge you to share your creations using the link below.
Great pieces and you’ll rock the challenge because you’ve always had great style!
Thanks, Carrie. Right back at ya! /mwah
All great choices! I love that you broke it down by what you were going to wear to work. Looking forward to doing this challenge with you.
Thanks for visiting and for joining the challenge. Your pop of pink today was stunning!
I am SO SO excited that you are back to blogging! I can’t wait to see your creative and fabulous outfits!
Ha! You give me too much credit. I’ve been rather lax in my creativity, so I hope you won’t be too disappointed with my rather safe choices. I love your pieces, btw. I should’ve chosen footwear too!
