What’s in my head :: of philosophy, personal peace and one sick bunny

If a blog entry is published in the blogosphere and no one is around to read it, does it still exist?

It’s Easter Sunday and whether you’re the church-going type or the Easter bunny type, you are probably not glued to your computer right now.  You are most certainly not reading fashion blogs right now.

Therefore, as I type this, does this mean I’m talking to myself?  If so, why?  Shouldn’t I be going to church/searching for Easter eggs/nomming on brunch too?

Thing is, my friends, writing is my church.  As sacrilegious as that sounds, and even though I do have faith in a higher power, I find the most solace through introspection and writing.  I guess it’s like when my mom – the secular nun – completes decades on her rosary.

I think we should all be allowed to find our own personal peace and be afforded the liberty to express it.  So whatever you are doing today, may you find comfort and happiness in the doing of it.

Aly is sick today. My poor little bunny…
